Energy tools for your training sessions

When you go through the motions or just show up, youโ€™ll stop responding, youโ€™ll get bored or even worse, set yourself up for injury. Hereโ€™s some tips on increasing your energy and enjoying the process while transforming ๐Ÿ”‘

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Music- my favorite tool! Listing to music while training will up your focus, intensity, and engagement increasing your endurance by up to 15%

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Ask questions- (especially while working with a coach/trainer/mentor) making sure your moving right, form is correct and engaging correct muscles. Understand why you are doing it, the cause and effect. You want to make sure your session is effective and progressive.

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Go hard- women tend to play it safe. Staying away from weights, sticking with the same weight. Your body will respond with every LITTLE change you make for a period of time. Positive self talk will take your training and confidence to another level, allowing you training a little longer than you normally would. (This is why having trainer/coach/mentor is valuable)

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Gear up- workouts seeming a little stale? No energy, no connection? Go on a little shopping trip for some new fresh workout gear. It just does something to the sole!

ย ๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพ Hydrate- dehydration can make you feel sluggish. This makes it hard to concentrate. Keep the water flowing.  About 65% of your body is water, doesnโ€™t it make sense to keep hydrated for your body to function at itโ€™s best?

๐Ÿ‘‰๐Ÿพย  stay engaged (be present)- dial in on the exercise your doing, what muscles are you working, where are you feeling it. Breathe, breathe, breathe. Sometimes donโ€™t go for a certain amount of reps. Go until you canโ€™t do anymore.
