Surviving the holidays in the midst of transformation

Some feel that starting the transformation journey between October and December is a complete wash. Think about it.... “ I’ll start taking care of myself a little more starting January” say that to yourself in your head just a couple times. Now say it to yourself aloud. Doesn’t that just sound crazy?

Its your health, your energy, your mood, and your productivity most consider to put on hold during for some, the busiest time of the year. This is when we need to feel our best. Entertaining, traveling, food cravings and inconsistent sleep, are calling for heavy demands on our mind and body, and the thought that you will be able to turn the switch on January 1st every year, is setting you up for failure.

The best time to take control of your health, your life, is now! So when ever you are reading this post whether it’s current or archive. Whatever it is your debating on to change, or start for yourself to become a better version of you. Start right now, today!

One of my favorite impact videos that has changed my outlook on how I spend my life is ( YouTube video yourlife in jelly beans)

Plan of action

👉🏾 Have a plan

👉🏾 Have accountability

👉🏾 Have a time frame (at least 90 days)

👉🏾 Get uncomfortable

👉🏾 Be a little selfish during this period (this can be an unforeseen challenge)

👉🏾 Leave some room for mistakes (these are great learning points) and  gauge for progression

Your New Years Solutions

Start now focusing on your greatest opportunities. The next 90 days will be your most impactful if you keep it simple and be a little selfish. Do this by outsourcing things that take a way from your productivity. Saying no to things that distract you from your focus. With everything pulling for our attention, every day you have to have a plan of action to continue to grow closer to YOUR vision.

👉🏾 Hire help- get a coach/mentor this will save you time and money. Keeping you focused on your goals and providing an effective plan. Accountability is what’s going to make the changes needed happen for you!

👉🏾 Write it down- keep your focus on 3-5  areas that you want to change, improve, or completely develop in. The developing area, can lead to major changes, even for some the most scariest and uncomfortable.. Job change. Grow for it, and go for it!!!

👉🏾 Assess and adjust- be patient and give your action (planting seeds) time to grow. Evaluate progress maybe every 2-3 weeks, make the adjustments necessary and continue moving forward. The goals doesn’t change, only the path of getting there!
