Ditch these body busters.... now!

I know this is going to ruffle some feathers, but it needs to be said, and if your following these, it needs to be done. Ditch these trends now..

Paleo diet- eliminating food groups because cavemen didn’t eat them. You have to realize that cavemen only lived to about the age of 30. Not only that, being around people, hearing an order in restaurants, kills me, cavemen didn’t have restaurants to eat out at.. stop it  

 

smoothie or all liquid- no quality calories, most of the time not enough fiber, and ridiculous sugar intake. If anything squeeze your own fruits and maybe use as a kick start to your morning.  

 

Detox diets- this is just a cleanse of the system. A reset of the metabolism. Lots of toxins being flushed and nutrient deficient fasts. Water is key, and always will be! 

 

gluten free- not too much to be said about this one. If you haven’t been diagnosed with an illness or condition that is inflamed by gluten intake, you need to lay off the gluten free diet. It’s like the new purse, shoes, or get rich system has just released. If your not gluten free your not In the “in crowd”. 😂 stop it  

 

low carb- taking low amounts of carbs on a regular basis will slow metabolism, unruly hormones, and bring unwanted cravings. Depending on your training regimen, this can play a major role in the progress your seeking. 

 

Free yourself of the word “Free” try not to consume products with the word “free” on the package. Fat free, sugar free, wheat free. We’ve always told clients, if there’s a commercial for it, stay away from it.  

 

For long term success in starting, achieving, and maintaining your overall health and fitness progress, you have to learn your body and learn how to eat, your food personality. Eating is something you will do for he rest of your life!
